For the sake of further implementing a series of major decisions and arrangements of the Central Committee of the CPC regarding energy revolution, digital economy and the fourth industrial revolution, creating a world-class energy Internet with global competitiveness and promoting scientific and technological innovation, on the 8-10 November, the 3rd IEEE Conference on Energy Internet and Energy System Integration was held in Changsha, which was co-sponsored by IEEE PES, Tsinghua University and CSUST.

With the theme of "a ubiquitous network with interconnection of all things", the conference attracted more than 800 experts and scholars from 16 countries and regions, including 4 academicians both at home and abroad, 1 IEEE LIFE FELLOW, 7 IEEE FELLOWs, 9 Changjiang Scholars, 15 winners of National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, 4 young Yangtze scholars, 12 outstanding young scholars of NSFC, 190 experts, and more than 20 enterprise representatives.

As a grand meeting of academic exchange for international energy interconnection and school-enterprise cooperation crossing multiple disciplines, the conference will definitely promote the innovation and development of energy Internet and energy system integration.
