According to the notice published by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, Professor Zeng Xiangjun from CSUST was listed in the 2013 National Hundred, Thousand and Ten Thousand Talents Project, and was awarded with an honorary title "Young Expert with Outstanding Contributions".

The National Hundred, Thousand, Ten Thousand Talents Project is a major program, aimed at a national selection and training of high-level young academic and technical leaders, who are capable of leading and supporting leapfrog development in major science, major national project and key areas. The candidates for the Project are based on recommendations from relevant regions, departments and examined by experts organized by nine departments with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security taking the leading role.
